Day 1 - Saturday, May
23, 2009 - (310 mile route) Back roads ride to
Liberty Mountain Resort, just south of Gettysburg. The ride is through
picturesque country side and many Amish areas of Pennsylvania. Lunch
stop at Tom's Restaurant just south of Bloomsburg. This is
a ride for experienced riders and those with the skills and endurance
to enjoy the ride. Ride Leader: Fred. - Leaves Legends at 8:30am
Alternate Ride: Take the "Super Slab" for a quick trip to Liberty
Mountain. For those with time constrains or who want a shorter ride.

Day 2 –
Sunday, May 24, 2009 - (194 mile route) Explore the wonders of West
Virginia. A guided day ride into Maryland and West Virginia following
much of
the published in the AMA "Ride Guide to America" and “Road
Runner” Magazine. Ride Leader: Fred - Leaving Liberty Mountain at
8:30am.
Here is an alternative route provided by our own Lil:
from Gettysburg square, take Harrisburg Ave which turns into Old
Harrisburg Ave.
Make a Left onto Biglersville Road
Right onto Battlefield Road (which is monument row)
Right onto Goldenville Road (see Tower and can take auto tour)
Follow to Peach Light onto Convererate Ave / Mummasburg Road.
Left onto Herrs Ridge Road
Right onto Rt. 30 (small 2 lane highway - this can take you into
Chambersburg)
Over RR tracks, make Right onto Fairview Fruit Rd.
Straight onto Blue Ribbon Road
Now at T - if go Left on Beecherstown Road takes you to Arndstville.
(If go Right - takes you to center of Biglersville and then you make a
RIGHT onto Rt. 234 to Rt. 34 to Gettysburg. Both are real pretty
country towns.)
Now get onto Rt. 234 thru Arendtsville go into Biglerville then take
Rt. 34 back into Gettysburg.

| Day 3 - Monday May 25,
2009 - (212 mile route) Tour of the Gettysburg Battlefield conducted by
a certified motorcycle tour guide. (small fee - $5 to $10 per person).
The tour is approximately 2 hours long and we will be on and off the
bike moving around the Battlefield. Immediately following the tour we
head North to the Millersburg Ferry and lunch. (Yes a real working
ferry that is an experience not to be missed!). Then catch Route 209
(well mostly) through PA and back home. Ride Leader: Fred Leaves
